In 2006-2007, the Department of Physiology received $3,763,204 in federal grants and $127,157 in other grant funding, totaling $3,890,361 in individual faculty awards. The Department also supported graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with NIH Training Grant funding that totaled $445,389.

Teaching Commitments
The faculty teaching commitments include teaching courses in physiology (medical, graduate and undergraduate students), biochemistry, biomedical engineering, cell biology, math, pharmacology and toxicology, nursing, and medicine.
