ABOUT THE LECTURE OUTLINES

This set of class notes includes outlines of the lectures given in PSIO 201 during the 2007 first summer session. These notes are NOT intended to replace the lecture, and may at times be subject to change, addition, or deletion. The notes are, however, intended to serve as a guide for students to follow during lecture or when studying for 201. These outlines should be supplemented with the students’ own notes taken in class and with the assigned readings. Because this course is taught in summer session, there may be topics that are not completely covered due to time constraints.

At the start of each lecture outline you will find the recommended reading assignment for the lecture. Students will be held responsible for material presented in the textbook even if it was not covered in lecture. Similarly, at the end of each lecture outline you will find a list of objectives for that lecture. These objectives are designed to help you focus your studying on the key concepts covered in each lecture.
