Research Opportunities

Physiology students thrive on the fact that the University of Arizona is known as a "student-centered research university." Physiology faculty members serve as mentors and research supervisors of several undergraduate students each semester. Undergraduate physiology majors also participate in research projects with faculty in other departments across campus. Physiology majors who participate with faculty sponsors in research projects have the opportunity to present their research at departmental poster sessions held each October and April.
