Dr. Walker Finding Better Ways to Diagnose Heart Attacks

A technological breakthrough developed by researchers and Dr. Walker at the UA Sarver Heart Center and BIO 5 Institute could one day allow doctors to better analyze levels of Troponin-I, the molecular signature of heart damage. Their mass spectrometry techniques could also be used to identify variations in heart muscle proteins that make individuals susceptible to heart problems. More >
