Yong Liu, PhD

Associate Research Professor, Physiology
Research Interests

I am a molecular biologist and a bioinformatician. My research focuses on using techniques of molecular biology, cellular biology, and bioinformatics to systematically study complex interactions of the biological system. My current work involves 1). regulatory RNA, such as microRNAs and lncRNAs, 2). epigenetic and epigenomic mechanism such as DNA methylation, chromatin conformation, and 3). genomic data analysis in hypertension, cardiovascular and renal disease.
