The Department of Physiology joined thousands of visitors at the Tucson Festival of Books, held March 14–15,  on the University of Arizona campus, by participating in Science City with a hands-on table on the east mall.
Visitors of all ages explored interactive demonstrations using anatomy models, learned about the respiratory system and discussed how multiple physiological systems work together to keep the body functioning. Guests also played Body Bingo and engaged with faculty, staff and students, creating opportunities for informal conversations that connected physiology concepts to everyday health and sparked curiosity about science.
