Ava is pursuing a Physiology and Medical Sciences major with minors in Public Health and Clinical Research Coordination. Of her four younger sisters, two of them have serious health problems which inspires her passion for medicine. During her last year at the University, she will focus on performing clinical research in the Emergency Department at Banner.
Alexandra is a first-generation college student who plans to pursue a master’s degree

in Occupational Therapy. At the University she has organized the Feminist Pharmacy and supports sex education programs. She credits her high school advisor for encouraging her to pursue a career in healthcare.
